The Tomorrow River Scholarship Foundation was created in 1993 through a generous donation from a private citizen and graduate from Amherst High School who wanted to support other AHS graduates and community members interested in pursuing their education. The first four scholarships were presented in 1994. Since its inception, 1,161 scholarships have been awarded totaling $960,665 in 2022.
