Students and staff at Amherst Elementary School will present a program for Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2022 to honor and salute area veterans.
The program is open to the public and will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the high school gym. Students will sing songs they have learned in music class and audience members will also be asked to sing patriotic songs.
Students are encouraged to wear red, white and blue clothing on that day.
Veterans who plan to attend the program are encouraged to call Karen Hatfield at (715) 824-5523 extension 1434 or Aralda Bell at home at (715) 824-0237 and leave a message that includes the name and branch of service. There will be special seating for veterans and their families.
