Tomorrow River Education Association- Amherst high school scholarship Local 4/27/2019 $300-Education, $250 Open
Requirements:
The Tomorrow River Education Association (TREA) is offering one scholarship to graduating Amherst High School seniors. 
  1. Students planning to pursue any post-secondary program of two or more years in length are eligible for the “Open” scholarship of $250.                                                     OR
  2. Students planning to pursue a post-secondary program of two or more years in length for a career in education are eligible for the “Education” scholarship of $300. The scholarship funds are disbursed to help defray the costs of tuition and books only.

$ 250 Open Scholarship (students going into any post- secondary program 2 or more years)

OR

$300 (renewable $150) Education Scholarship (students going into a career in education)

  1. A child of a parent who sustained a work-related serious injury or fatality, covered by the worker’s compensation laws of Wisconsin. Parent’s injury or death must have been a compensable or compromised claim.
  2. The parent’s injury or death had a financial impact on the family.
  3. Students should be between ages of 17 to 24.
  4. Preference given to students who are Wisconsin residents at time of application.
