Hope for Tomorrow School-Based Therapy

Does your child struggle with worry, anxiety, sadness, depression, irritability, anger, low  self-esteem, poor self-confidence, or have trouble expressing his or her feelings?

Would you prefer your child not miss significant amounts of school in order to attend  therapy appointments?

Do you/would you have difficulty getting your child to and from therapy appointments due  to other obligations?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then your child may benefit from therapy services that are available at school through the Hope for Tomorrow office.

Therapy services are available for Tomorrow River School District students at school and during school hours, with some limited after school hours as well. Therapy services are provided by a licensed therapist and will be billed to your insurance. If the cost of therapy is a hardship, please contact your child’s school counselor.

If you are interested in starting school-based therapy services for your child, please reach out to your child’s school counselor or school psychologist to discuss your options, how to initiate services, and what to expect moving forward.

School-Based Therapists:

Amy Marcott

Amy Marcott, MA.Ed., LPC

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2002 and I have worked in community mental health, vocational rehabilitation, university counseling centers, VA clinics, county agencies, and in leadership of many entities. I have always had a passion for supporting people and learning about the uniqueness of individuals. I remember being in high school taking my first Psychology class and being fascinated about the complexity of what makes human beings...human.

I appreciate every client that walks into my office and I am honored to be a part of their journey. With 20+ years of experience in the mental health field, I have a vast knowledge of many areas of the field and bring that with me to each session and interaction with clients and clinicians alike. I look forward to our future collaborations!

Michelle Hazuka

Michelle Hazuka, MS.,LPC

I LOVE to help people figure out their lives. In my career I have worked across many areas in mental health and have witnessed amazing things happen when people start to understand what they need in life.

I work with clients across the lifespan, from everyday difficulties regarding areas of love, loss, career, and family, to profound challenges like trauma, identity, and mood disorders. My goal as a therapist is to help you feel seen and understood so that you may begin to rebuild your life.

I meet my clients with warmth, compassion, and a commitment to help them lead their best lives. I use a healthy dose of humor to build a trusting and collaborative bond. While I approach treatment from a psychodynamic lens with the aim of greater self-understanding and lasting change, I integrate cognitive-behavioral interventions toward symptom relief through practical, short-term adjustments tailored uniquely to you.

Inclusivity work: This includes variations of gender expression, sexuality, race, ethnocultural background, socioeconomic status, faith, legal status, all are welcomed with respect and openness. I have lived in central Wisconsin for nearly 30 years and on my days off enjoy hiking, boating and gardening with my spouse and our two dogs.

Cherie Cisewski, LCP

I grew up in Central Wisconsin and have a deep connection with our community. I have experienced incredible healing through counseling, which has led me to want to help others in the same way. After completing my education, I have given back to our community by working with juvenile day treatment, crisis intervention, and individual counseling services. I start every day with a positive
mindset and an openness to resolve challenges and accept new beginnings
