In February, our TRSD Battle of the Books teams competed in a statewide testing session. At each level, the students were tasked with reading the same 20 books and pooled their knowledge to discuss and answer comprehension questions. They also had to memorize the author's names for all 20 books!

The High School team, comprised of Olivia Helgemo, Mara Raddatz, and Deqlund Kosmach, placed 42nd statewide.

The Middle School team, comprised of Allison Raddatz, Elsie Berdan, Elise Christianson, Olive Impullitti, and alternate Chelsea Corrigan, placed 20th statewide (out of 166 participating schools).

The Elementary team, comprised of Elliot Christianson, Sam Hunter, Grace Britz, Avery Rooney, and alternate Madelyn Konkol, placed 59th statewide (out of 266 participating schools). Lily Utecht, Parker Van Beek, and Maryjane Zarnke also participated in the program as readers.
