Quiz Bowl is an academic competition between schools in our conference, consisting of approximately seven meets during school hours. The team is made up of 14 members, plus alternates and managers. To qualify, students must participate in two try-outs, one written and one verbal. Playing time is based on performance during meets and rotation of players. Members who attend at least four matches will earn a participation certificate at the end of the season, and four-year members will receive a medal. Quiz Bowl members are expected to adhere to the Amherst Extra-Curricular Code of Conduct.

Quiz Bowl during 2020-21 looked a little different, but the students still had fun and learned a lot.
