Hello and welcome to the Amherst High School Principal's Page. My name is Mike Klieforth, and I am the principal at Amherst High School. My goal is to give students the best educational experience possible during their time at Amherst High School. To obtain this we will offer challenging but rewarding curriculum, give students opportunities to be involved in numerous extra curricular and co curricular activities, as well as give students a positive social experience through many school functions and activities. Through these experience our goal is to create the best possible college and career ready students after graduation.

We also want invite families and the community to be involved in our school, and as a school we will be involved in our great community. It takes an entire village to raise our youth to be the best that they can be. My office is always open, so please don't hesitate to stop by, send me an email, or give me a call.
