NATIONAL HONORS SOCIETY
Students are eligible for National Honor Society sophomore year if they meet the following requirements: cumulative GPA of 3.5, have accumulated at least 20 volunteer hours since 8th grade, have held at least one leadership role since freshman year inside or outside of school, have been involved in activities/clubs inside or outside school, and have upheld good character inside and outside of school. Students will be sent an application at the end of sophomore year and chosen based on provided information by their teachers.
After selected, students make positive contributions to the community through volunteer work, fundraisers, donations, food drives, blood drives, and anything else the members choose to do throughout the year. Senior members can apply for the National NHS scholarship as well.
