Investment club is open to anyone in the high school that is interested in learning the basics of investing. Our club was gifted $20,000 for students to invest in mutual funds. We meet about once a month to look at our current holdings and see if we want to make any changes. I then encourage students to participate in the investments challenge bowl that takes place in February. We had a lot of fun there last year.

Amherst sent 12 students to the 2020 Investment Challenge competition in Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Although the finish was heartbreaking, it was a good learning experience for the group, and the first time the Investment Club got a chance to enter a competition. The following students participated:
