Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.

The Pacelli co-op hockey team lost a hard-fought battle 4-3 at Lakeland on Tuesday night. Pacelli scored goals in period 1 and 2 but gave up 4 goals in the final period. Hockey season is underway! Our Pacelli co-op hockey team won 2-1 win over Baraboo, with Cade Wojtalewicz scoring a goal. The team plays tonight at Lakeland @ 7 pm. Wish them luck! The first home game is next Tuesday, December 3 at the Ice Hawks Arena.

NHS and Student Council is still running the angel tree. With Thanksgiving break and Black Friday coming up, it is a great opportunity to grab an angel off the tree and buy a gift. The After School Program is looking for high school volunteers to help elementary students build gingerbread houses on December 4 and/or December 5 from 3:30-4:30p. Sign up is in Swanson's Google classroom.

The Amherst National Honor Society and Amherst Student Council are hosting an Angel Tree! The Angel Tree is a program by the Salvation Army that helps people in need during the holidays. You can pick an “angel” from the tree, which is usually a child who needs gifts. Then, you purchase the gifts on their wish list to help make their holiday brighter! The event runs from November 15 - December 12 and is open to the community. The tree is located near the high school office. For more information, please refer to the flyer.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Amherst FFA Agronomy team of Sam Stuczynski, Porter Stuczynski, Marcus Kennedy, and Jacob Kirsling on competing at the national agronomy contest last week at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. The team placed 15th overall out of approximately 40 teams from around the nation, earning a Silver award. Individually: Sam, Marcus, and Porter were all awarded silver and Jacob a gold out of approximately 160 competitors. This is a remarkable achievement and the first for Amherst FFA history!!

Do you know anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer? Many cancer patients require blood, sometimes daily, during their chemotherapy treatment. This year’s blood drive is on Wednesday, October 9.

Fall Hoops-n-Lift will start up next week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30am-7:30am in the HS Gym/Weight Room. See Mr. Vander Laan with any questions.
