Amherst Cheerleaders act as leaders and ambassadors for the school, as well as cheering on our Falcon football team. The Amherst cheer team consists of 7th through 12th grade students. The team cheers at home football games, as well as pep rallies and other special requests. They also attend a Game Day competition each season. The squad hosts a youth cheer night where the Amherst youth cheerleaders get to cheer with the varsity team.

One of our favorite nights is the Kid’s Cheer Clinic fundraiser we host each season. Young athletes spend time with the varsity cheer team to learn motions, cheers, and stunts. Plus they get to perform at half-time of a varsity football game.

From cheer camp in the summer to Homecoming in the fall, and through all team bonding activities, joining the Amherst Cheerleading team is sure to be an experience you will never forget!
