School Meals

Message from Chef Paul Skinner:

Reminders for “Free Meals”

The free meals for all the students in the Tomorrow River School District will continue through
the end of the 2020-2021 school year. The lunch meals must be complete incorporating all 5
components: whole grain, protein, fruit, vegetable and milk. Breakfast meals must also be complete incorporating all 3 components: whole grain/protein, fruit & milk. Menu items are subject to change due to product availability.

Snack milk taken in the classroom (grades 4k-3) is not included in this program. If you feel your
family would qualify for the standard Free and Reduced program, snack milk can be covered under that  program. An application will need to be submitted to the school for approval. Information on this program can be found on the school website under the Food Service tab.

A la carte items purchased by students in grades 5 -12 are also not included in this program.
Students must have funds in their account to purchase a la carte items. Because of the extra purchases able to be made to accounts, phone calls will continue to be sent to families that have a negative balance. Payments can be made online or students can drop payments off at their school office.

Pick up meals will continue to be available until the end of the school year for students that are
doing virtual learning. Orders must be submitted by 1 pm on the Thursday prior to the Monday pick up.

Due to the changing weather, the pick-up location will change to door D1 (across from tech ed building in parent drop off loop) Starting Monday January 4th. Monday, 8 am – 10 am, is the only pick up time for these meals.
