Welcome to Amherst Elementary

Thank you for taking the time to visit our elementary website.   I hope you find the site helpful and educational.   Feel free at any time to contact us with suggestion related to the school or website.  

Lastly, I would like to give you a small synopsis of my educational background and family life.   I started my teaching career as a business and computer teacher in our neighboring district, Iola.   After five years of teaching, I received my masters in administration from Marian College and spent a year as an assistant principal at Auburndale, WI.   For the last thirteen years, I've been an administrator in Amherst and have been the high school principal (2 years), middle school principal (9 years)  and am currently the elementary principal.   I look forward to coming to work each and every day, but of course, also enjoy spending time with my own family on weekends and during the summer.  I look forward to serving the Amherst school and community for many more years.
