Hello, I am originally from Two Rivers, Wisconsin.  I graduated from UWSP in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, earning a double major in sociology and broad field social studies with an emphasis in history, I also had a minor in coaching.  In 2006 I earned a masters degree in Integrating Technology in the Curriculum. I have taught in Amherst since 1986, and have enjoyed coaching a variety of sports.  I was the head coach of the girls basketball team from 1986-1998.  In 1987 I re-started the boys and girls track program and was the head coach until 1993.  I also re-started the cross country program in 1988 and coached the boys and girls until 1991. Currently I am in my 20th year as the AHS Student Council advisor. This year am teaching 7th grade Teen Skills, 9th grade Social Studies, Films In History and 10th grade US History I.
