My name is Christy Gutke and I am one of your child's teachers in Kindergarten.  This is my 28th year of teaching at Amherst Elementary School.  It is very rewarding to watch young children develop a love for learning.  I am married and live with my husband and two sons in Plover.  My son Robert III is 22 years old and completed his third year of college.  He is currently taking a year off to decide what he is truly passionate about.  I love having him home again!!  My son Budd is 20 and is attending Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton.  Where does the time go??  My hobbies and interests include:  spending time with my family (planning vacation get-aways), fishing, camping, reading (especially inspirational books), shopping with friends, walking, yoga, and attending sporting events featuring family members!!  Needless to say, I am kept very busy outside of school!! 

Together we make a difference in the life of your child.  It is my hope that your child continues to grow and blossom each day in my Kinder-"garden"!  :)  K-G ROCKS!!!
