Welcome to Amherst Elementary School – where we are “Teaching Tomorrow’s Children” to be lifetime learners and community leaders.   At Amherst we have a fantastic staff committed to preparing students to meet the challenges of today’s changing world.   We strive to provide an atmosphere where all students are able to learn, achieve, and reach their full potential.   In addition, our goal is to provide a safe and comforting place for students to learn so each day is a positive and memorable experience.   

          To close, I want to put out the friendly reminder that if at any time during the school year a problem should arise, please use your resources and contact either your child’s teacher or myself.  My computer is always on, phone is ready, and my door is always open.  Your concern is our concern and unless the problem is communicated we can’t assist.  WE ARE PARTNERS so let’s work together to build student success.
